The sun was just barely in the sky and Ollie was in front of a Chinese takeout place waiting to meet a stranger from the internet. As sketchy as it sounded, Oliver wasn't all that worried- this was a small town and if somebody was out to get him he could probably just scream and the sheriff would hear him. His only concern now was that she might be some crazed fan- though that was barely a thought in his mind considering he had approached her and asked her to come out tonight. He just hoped that she wouldn't act differently when she realized who he was. If she was from Britain as well then there was no doubt in his mind that she would be at least a little surprised that she was out with the Oliver Reece himself. He would say he hated the fame, but that would be a flat out lie. But right now, he wasn't in the full swing of it and using it to his advantage. Instead, he was trying to get his footing here- meet some people, find out the hot spots, etc. In all truth, Oliver was about as bad of an influence as they come, always doing the reckless thing.
But tonight, he just wanted to learn the ropes- and what better way than to have a pretty girl show him around? It was a friday night and despite it being a small town, they were in the heart of it. People were walking by him on their way to dinner or to a bar but he just waited patiently out front of the take out place, leaning against a railing and sweeping his eyes for the mystery girl he was about to meet up with. Judging by her picture, he wouldn't be minding spending time with her tonight at all. 321, i wasnt sure what word count range you liked so let me know if you want more or less (:

Even a quick outing to the supermarket seemed to take the young girl forever just to make it out her front door. Running a hand through her hair to try and neaten it up a little, she finally slammed the front door behind her and hopped into her car. It had been two years since she'd moved to the small American town so she found herself driving around the streets with ease and precision. It definitely wasn't like the streets of London however, the ones where she'd much rather walk than get stuck in traffic or risk hitting a pedestrian who just didn't bother looking.
Brooke did quite miss her home. She missed the familiar voices, not being asked about her accent every five minutes, she missed the shopping, the familiar places. Actually she missed everything really but she wasn't one to dwell or let a slight case of home sickness get her down. As much as she wished she was across the world, she didn't mind Spring Valley. The people were sweet, their was strong sense of community that she'd never experienced before and it was whole bunch of new people she got to meet. While her parents and siblings had troubles adjusting, Brooklyn eased her way into their new life. She loved people and she loved new opportunities and though she'd only been her for a few years, she'd already made friends that felt like she'd known them for a life time.
The addition of another Britt to town was a nice one though and she couldn't deny she as a little excited. Everyone knew Oliver Talbot and if they didn't? They were probably living under a rock. Or dead. Either one. Brooklyn wasn't a fan girl, she never had been. She admired talent and a good beat but she'd never put celebrities up on a pedestal. If anything she was just excited to see a new face and get a free meal. It was never easy moving to a new place, let alone a new country so the least she could do was give the guy a hand. Stranger danger alarms didn't go off either. Seriously, what did she have to worry about with a teen dream icon? Other than crazy teenage girls bowling her over.
Parking her car, Brooklyn locked up and made her way towards the familiar boardwalk, her stomach grumbling after a hard days work in the studio. Her eyes found Oliver with ease, recognizing the very familiar figure and making her way over to him with an abundance of confidence. "Hey, Oliver, right?" she smiled, giving him a small wave and standing right in front of him. "I'm brooklyn. Nice to meet you" she stuck her hand out, widening her smile.
