It was a bright day outside, one of the best that this summer had to offer so far, in Violet's opinion, but unfortunately for the young blonde, she was stuck inside, trying to get work done for her summer class. Normally, she wasn't so dedicated to her studies, but this one class had her interested from the word go. It wasn't anything major, just an English Literature class to broaden her horizons a little and to ensure Violet had tried absolutely everything before committing to a major, but so far, she'd found that it was a lot of work for one measly paper. Luckily, she found it interesting. She just wished it wasn't taking up so much time, and making her hide away from the beautiful weather.
She had made her way down to the library at about lunchtime, just to get out of the apartment she currently lived out of. Without the many distractions found in her living space, Violet had made a good start on the research report she was meant to complete, but it was now mid-afternoon, and her work ethic was beginning to fizzle out. Stuck on the same sentence for over ten minutes, Violet finally put her pen down, leaning forward to rest her forehead on the table, hiding her frustrated expression from the world with the help of her blonde mane of hair. There was no way she was going to get this done by the end of the day, and Vi was in desperate need of something else to occupy her attention. She needed a distraction, in whatever form that might take.
