hai c: i'm brooklyn and this is miss dahlia woodbury. she's pretty new to the area, just moved in with her little clothing boutique. originally she's from los angeles but moved to new york city to study entrepreneurship at nyu. she has quite a few connections in the fashion industry thanks to her mother who used to model before retiring a few years ago and now works as a designer, so she's always known that she's wanted to open up her very own clothing boutique. for a while she thought new york city would be a perfect place to start, and she did do a number of internships at other small boutiques but nothing about the city really clicked for her. she visited spring valley a couple years ago for a family vacation and she was immediately taken with the town's charm. so finally, here she is ready to set up shop. dahlia's pretty sweet, really - but can be a bit overwhelming sometimes. she's definitely a workaholic and is entirely focused on seeing her business thrive. for friends, basically anyone who can tolerate her and she can tolerate them. that's not to say that she's a total bitch or doesn't want to talk to anyone, but she tends to speak her mind and rarely holds anything back. she can also be pretty judgmental and naive. overall though she's not a bad person to have around. once you get to know her she's fiercely loyal and loves giving advice - just don't take any of it. there'll probably be a few people on her bad side, those she's annoyed and those who annoy her. most of the time she does her best to ignore anyone she dislikes or anyone who dislikes her, but she does tend to accidentally start drama when her annoyance or anger hits a breaking point. for lovers, she's pretty naive when it comes to this area. she wasn't the partying type in college and mostly kept to her studies and her close friends. she's had one boyfriend her entire life and that lasted for a month before he got bored and left. she doesn't really care for romance mostly so it doesn't matter to her. i'll be putting up a request later for a loverrr.

violet - so, i don't see much for dahlia and violet, except maybe friendly acquaintances. vi would probably wander into the store while she's on break, or something. if they spoke, i think vi would appreciate her honesty? since vi herself has trouble thinking before she speaks. bahaha. but yeah. that's all i've got for those two~

charlie - and then i've got charlie, who is pretty much the "good guy". he's quite charming, and friendly and likes to make sure everything is okay with everybody. he and dahlia are also the same age. perhaps he was one of the first friends lia made when she came to spring valley? since charlie would have wanted to introduce himself to her and make sure she's settling into the town. let me know what you think. :D

aha yes it is! and that all sounds superb. dahlia really will take to anyone who's as honest as she is.

yesss, she needs a friend like that. she'd probably be a bit wary of him at first but warm up to him slowly. she's not the best at making friends so she'd definitely appreciate him xD
